5-course Valentine's Day dinner at the Aranybástya
Valentine's Day is a special occasion every year. People all over the world want to express their feelings for their love, and a live music dinner with a fantastic panoramic view is the best way to do it.
At the Aranybástya Restaurant , we are again preparing an unforgettable experience with a five-course Valentine's Day menu, natural aphrodisiacs, with cimbalom and violin music to set the mood.
The Valentine's Day Celebration
Theorigins of Valentine's Day are rooted in a variety of stories, all of which emphasise the close connection between love and romance. The best-known story is linked to a legend from the late 3rd century: Valentine, a Christian priest, secretly married a couple in love in Rome after the Emperor Claudius II banned marriage for young men. After his fall, Valentine was imprisoned, where he performed a miracle by curing a blind girl. Legend has it that the priest sent a farewell message to him before his death, signed "Your Valentine". In 496, Pope Gelasi I declared 14 February the feast of Saint Valentine, making it the patron saint of lovers and making Valentine's Day a tradition.
Since then, Valentine's Day has been a celebration of love and togetherness, which we celebrate with a special romantic dinner at the Golden Bastion.

Valentine's Day at the Golden Bastion Restaurant is a truly special occasion. This year our chef has again created a unique five-course menu that evokes both love and passion. Each course of the menu is packed with natural aphrodisiacs to make every moment of the evening magical and the time spent together truly unforgettable. Live music and good vibes are provided by our musicians, Gusztáv Malácsik (cimbalom) and Miklós Lakatos(violin), who started their studies in the world-famous Rajkó orchestra. They are currently touring the world, but on Valentine's Day they will enchant our guests with live music.
The Valentine's Day menu:
● Welcome Champagne: Philipponnat Royale Reserve Champagne
● Amusebouche: Wasabis octopus tempura
● Appetizer: duck liver pate with dark chocolate, cherries and pepper tuile or goat cheese with raspberries, capers and pistachios.
● Soups: coconut tea vegetable soup with prawns or vanilla bean soup with balsamic vinegar, rhubarb and creme fraiche or coconut milk vegetable soup with tofu.
● Main course: wellington truffle with French mashed potatoes, roasted celery jus and broccolini or duck duo (rosé duck breast and duck leg strudel with sweet potatoes, orange and coriander salsa) or smoked Jerusalem artichoke with velouté and devil's food mushrooms.
● Dessert: raspberry-mango mille feuille.

Menu price: 38000.- HUF + 15% service charge per person. Dinner will take place between 19 and 22 pm.
