The celebration of the founding of the state is a very important event in the life of Hungary every year. Many programs and exhibitions will be held, at which time the 'Cake of the Country' will be announced and let's not forget the fireworks.

Between 7 and 11 p.m., we celebrate St. Stephen's Day with an unforgettable cocktail party, where you can toast with Kreinbacher Prestige Brut, one of the finest Hungarian sparkling wines. Additional programs in Budapest and Buda Castle
In the Buda Castle, in the Polgárváros part, the Festival of Crafts will be held for the 38th time this year, between August 17-20. . In addition to the master's visual workshops and stage performances, visitors are also treated to dance and music productions and fashion shows.
On the, Tóth Árpád Promenadethis year, you can also walk along the Heroes' Road , where traditionalist groups present the heroic moments of Hungarian history in a playful way.
In the Várkert Bazár there is an exhibition entitled 'Summer on the shore - rivers, lakes, seas with a Hungarian brush', summer-themed works by the leading painters of the 20th century - Vilmos Aba-Novák, József Egry, Tivadar Csontváry Kosztka, Károly Ferenczy and János Vaszary - presents.
More exhibitions and events can be expected in Budapest: a sports history exhibition (titled Sports Heroes), Csárda festival, and in Vajdahunyad Castle, in the Magic Garden, colorful children's programs are being prepared.
Classical music lovers are welcome at the Panoráma Classical program series, which will be held in the Garden of the Philosophers, the aim of which is to present the classical music life of Hungary in a dignified manner.
At Road Movie Live, Hungarian rock and pop bands will perform at the St. Stephen's Day Retro Tabán and Műegyetem Rakpart.
On Kapisztrán square, the special forces and military police are preparing for close combat demonstrations and all-day exhibitions.
Fans of electronic music are welcome at the Szabadrét Festival.
In addition to ‘Cake of the Country', St. Stephen's Day bread will also be presented at the gastronomic event on Magyar Ízek Utcája.
On Kossuth Square, the St. Stephen's Day Ceremony, Flag Raising will be held in the Parliament, and the Pannónia Ship, built in 1927, will be on display.
