Is it necessary to book a table in advance at Aranybástya Restaurant?

To ensure you get a table, we recommend making a reservation in advance. When you make a reservation, we can take your requests and any allergens you specify into account.

What are the hours of operation for the Aranybástya ?

Our restaurant is open from 12:00 to 22:00, our last open reservation time is 20:00. Our kitchen accepts the last orders until 21:00.

How can I access Aranybástyát?

You can reach our restaurant from Clark Ádám Square and Dísz Square. If you’re taking the No. 16 or No. 216 bus, get off at the Donáti Street or Dísz Square stops to reach the restaurant. If you’re driving from Clark Ádám Square, take Hunyadi János Street and turn onto Csónak Street.

How far in advance can I make a reservation at the Aranybástya Restaurant?

You can make a reservation up to two weeks in advance on our website, by phone, or by email.

Is parking available?

There is a 400-space underground garage under Lovarda, or you can rent spaces in the parking lot in Lánchíd Street, but this must be arranged individually. In addition, it is possible to park on the street of our restaurant, Csónak utca, which is a cul-de-sac. In Csónak utca, the parking code is: 3011 on Dísz tér, although there is a machine for redeeming the parking ticket.

How long will you hold the table for me if I'm late?

We will hold the table for 15 minutes unless we are notified in advance of a delay. After that, we will offer it to other guests waiting for a table.

Is it possible to have dinner on the terrace?

If the weather permits, our terrace is the perfect choice for enjoying dinner.

Can I bring my dog to the Aranybástya ?

Yes, we are a dog-friendly place, and we'd love to welcome you and your pet. Please bring a dog that feels comfortable around people and other dogs.

Can I make a reservation for a larger group at the Aranybástya Restaurant?

For groups of more than 12 people, we offer a limited menu selection. We can confirm your reservation only if you secure it with an advance deposit. Can I pay with a SZÉP card?

Yes, it is possible: we accept OTP, MKB and K&H SZÉP cards.

A child-friendly place?

Yes. Changing facilities and high chairs are available for families with small children.

There isn't.

Does Aranybastya also function as a wedding venue?

Our venue is also suitable for smaller, more intimate weddings, and we can accommodate and provide quotes for groups of up to 120–150 guests. If you’re interested, please contact our team at events@aranybastya.com.

Is there a dress code policy?

At Aranybástya Restaurant our dress code is smart casual; during lunch hours the expectations are more relaxed.

Is Aranybástya Restaurant open in case of bad weather?
