Library Room

Elegance, tranquility, and Budapest’s iconic panorama all in one space. The 140-square-meter Library Room brings the world of classic upper-class salons to Buda Castle: the fine wood paneling, the fireplace, and the floor-to-ceiling bookshelves create a fitting setting for executive meetings, business lunches, private dinners, and receptions. The room has a separate entrance from Hunyadi János Street, so guests’ arrivals are completely independent of the restaurant’s foot traffic. It can accommodate 30 guests at round tables, 24 at a single long table, or 50 for a standing reception. The view of the Parliament, the Chain Bridge, St. Stephen’s Basilica, and the Fisherman’s Bastion through the huge windows provides an unparalleled backdrop for events.
