Fine Art Hungary aims to present contemporary Hungarian artists of today.
Every year, distinguished experts compile the Fine Art Hungary Top 100 list from the artists of artotek.hu. When compiling the list, the experts take into account the artist's artistic qualifications, the characteristics of his/her career to date; his/her awards and recognitions; his/her exhibitions and catalogues; his/her publication reviews and critiques in the art market; his/her sales data and visitor reviews.
The organisers aim to help more people discover the interesting and varied world of art as a source of pleasure. This year marks the second edition of the Artwork of the Year series. A key element of the initiative is that you can not only view works by local artists, but also buy them at an online auction starting on 11 April.
